Procurement Engineer/Procurement Assistant
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Description:
We are a dynamic and growing oil and gas service company located in Houston, Texas seeking to expand our team with dedicated Procurement Engineer and/or Procurement Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate the cost and quality of products and components
Faciliate communications between suppliers and vendors
Manage multiple procurement processes of parts and components
Ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials
Negotiate with suppliers in terms of price, stock, and schedule
Determine solutions to procurement-related issues
Qualifications:
A basic understanding of the oil and gas field
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Extensive experience with procurement, preferably with oil and gas fields
Responsible and detail-oriented
Bilingually fluent in English and Chinese
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
